new to RVing, thinking about purchasing one of those resorts things with the yearly maintenance fee, Coast2coast membership fee ect. Can you tell me if any of them are actually worth it? Is there to many restrictions? Thanks

I would not personally ever sign up for one of those things. No need. There are thousands of RV parks and campgrounds in this country. No reason to limit yourself to just a few.

I'm with SeilerBird on this one too....If I were you I'd do some traveling for a year or two and ask at every RV park what discounts they give. You'll soon develop a feel for what you want.

I use Good Sam and KOA, they both pay for themselves quickly.

If you do one of the big expensive ones make sure you know how to get out of it. They can be difficult to get rid of.
