We are looking into our options for insurance on a new Tiffin MH we are purchasing soon. Does anyone have an opinion on policies offered by Good Sam, RV America, etc. Thank you for your input.

If you are talking about roadside assistance, check out FMCA which is low cost and popular with a lot of RV owners. Also, a lot of owners swear by Coach-Net.

Or if you're talking about vehicle insurance, there certainly are many ways to go. Personally, my MH is just another vehicle on my State Farm policy -- keeps it simple -- so I don't have any experience with other companies. I do have Coach Net for roadside, though -- it's excellent.

Be careful if you plan to full time. Normally your home owners policy provides in the MH also, but full time time you don't have one. A full time policy is more expensive (I pay about $2,500) and makes up that shortcoming. When I went full time State Farm declined to insure me in FL. The State Farm rep even suggested I use my old address to continue the policy. I can imagine what would happen if someone were hurt by falling off the steps or ?.
