Old Gas Stations

I didn't see any of the pagoda style stations (Wattams (sp)?)  It's been a long time and may have been local to Milwaukee but there was such a station here.

The station with the swooping canopy is in Palm Springs, I believe, on hwy 111 near the tram entrance road.

You're correct, I remember many of them scattered around Detroit and throughout the state of Michigan.  When I grew up in the 40s and 50s Detroit was a really nice and vibrant auto capitol of the world.  Everything to do with cars was everywhere throughout the entire Detroit area.

That's neat that you may have identified the location of one of them.

I believe the station with the red Cowboy hat and Boot was located on Marginal way in Seattle not too far from the Boeing plant going toward Seattle.
