I'm in Washington state where there is plenty of rv dealers but since I'm in comfort of my own home right now. Are there great online dealers that are great place to start (for prices, info, reviews etc..)

So far, I saw rvtrader.com
I narrowed it down to a rv van or truck camper (still thinking of a trailor camper if driving it isn't to much of a hassle (tight corners, backing up etc).

Also, if I go to a dealer and just walk around. Am I able to just browse inside different rvs without talking to a dealer?

A few things to keep in mind, if you are looking at buying new, unlike auto dealers, RV dealers are not required to perform warranty work on RV's that they did not sell.  If you are buying used this probably does not matter, also if you are buying used consider buying from a private seller, used RV dealers bring very little to the table other than one stop shopping and higher prices.  RV dealers and salesmen are generally the type of people used car salesmen look down upon.

Having said that most dealers are happy to let window shoppers walk around and look, though some will ask for your contact information so they can spam you before letting you onto the lot, and yet others will insist a salesman escort you around.

Towing a small travel trailer isn't a big deal. It's just a matter of getting used to it and learning to used the 2 side mirrors when towing or backing up. And, you'll have more room in a trailer than a typical truck camper. I'm not against a truck camper or camper van. My daughter has a very nice truck camper. However, it sits up high and makes the truck a bit top heavy and can get pushed around in a stiff crosswind. I just wanted to note that you shouldn't avoid a trailer option due to fear of towing it.

What truck do you have or intend to buy?  You have to make sure your camper/trailer and truck will work together.  Don't let the salesmen tell you they will,do your own research.  Many people here are happy to help.

I think you will run into salesmen at any dealer.  Leave your checkbook at home so you can't buy yet.  But a good salesman can point you toward what models that might fit your needs.
