Be advised. The shelf of the over-cab storage may fall on you while you are driving.

From the recall: "If the shelf would fall while in transit the driver and passenger may be injured from the shelf and the contents of the cabinet falling them and/or could
become a distraction to the driver
, which could lead to a crash causing to death or injury."

Yeah. That might "distract" me.  ::)

Just to show how badly Winnebago screwed up, the remedy is "adding two support brackets and 18 screws along with a Warning label with MAX capacity of this storage space."

Makes me glad we use that cabinet to store pillows and blankets.

Just by luck, our rig is in the repair center already this week, so hopefully the fix will be quick.

The cabinetry in the ERA is aluminum "U" channel for the frame, with the wood then set into the channels for shelving, and attached to the outside for fascia.

On the front of the ERA, just above the windshield, the shelf of the overhead cabinet is completely unsupported, because there's nowhere to put another piece of channel.

I suspect the issue is somehow related to the shelf sliding forward under braking.
