Well sadly..... Our 19-year-old Pom.. Becky, took her last RV trip this past weekend,, and her last car ride this morning. In the past 3 weeks, her Quality of Life had Totally deteriorated.. Quickly. So... At 9:40 she was sent over the Rainbow Bridge by our Loving, Caring Vet. Her turns on the Console will now be taken by.. Sheeka, our Min Pin.. and Lizzy, our In-charge Cat.

She WILL BE MISSED.. GREATLY.  :( :(

Oh you'll be heartbroken, I'm so sorry. It's awful as they are true family members. But wow what a good age, I bet she had a wonderful life with you guys. Keep the happy memories close and a close eye on the other pets as they will miss her too. Hugs.

So sorry for your loss Joe & Rose

It should give you great comfort that you gave her a good life.

Try not to dwell on the loss Joe, even though it is tragic. Instead think back on what a great life you gave her for 19 years. That is quite a good run.

19 years is a heck of a long life even for a small dog.  But that doesn?t make it any easier does it?  Only another dog lover can understand.  We lost our April Muddypaws over 3 years ago and I still get all tore up when I think about her.

Sorry for your loss.

RIP Becky.  When we lost our 17 year old Shih Tzu, this poem was the one that best described how we felt from the pup's viewpoint:

Waiting at the Door??

I was just a pup when we first met, I loved you from the start,
you picked me up and took me home and placed me in your heart.

Good times we had together, we shared all life could throw,
but years passed all too quickly, my time has come to go.

I know how much you miss me, I know your heart is sore,
I see the tears that fall when I?m not Waiting at the Door.

You always did your best for me
your love was plain to see,
for even though it broke your heart
you set my spirit free.

So please be brave without me,
one day we?ll meet once more,
for when you?re called to Heaven
I?ll be Waiting at the Door.

That Sez it All.. Bill & Joan.. Thank You. And Thank You to ALL.. for your thoughts.

It's a tough time.. but we had discussed her failing health.. in the past months. Seems to have made it a bit easier when the End Finally.. Had To Come. She Is Missed.. but Time will lessen the Heartache.. We know that.

Miss Beck can't be replaced.. but another "Pooch" might take her spot.. at the Bowl.. and on the Console.. In Time.

Thanks Again ALL.. For your Thoughts !

Joe & Rose
