My Garmin 760 is very good if you can give it an exact address. It will take you there.
The Search routine for finding something by name is a little weird. An EXACT NAME will usually turn up something close, but it can get lost fairly easily.
Also, when you do give it a name, or something simple, like "restaurants" or "Fuel" it will show anything within range, in every possible direction, sorted by distance.
And the view-able map is frustratingly simple, with little or no useful information on the screen.
Google Maps on my Kindle Fire 8 is far more user friendly, as long as I have Wi-Fi available.
I've taken to setting my phone as WiFi hot-spot, and hosting the Kindle.
That works pretty well, back East. not quit as reliable west of the Mississippi.
