Hi, I'm a newbie here.
I'm looking for advice from anyone using the Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs. I just took my truck and camper out of storage from its second winter and I'm thinking it might be time to tighten these bad boys. Two of them seem just a little loose. I didn't install them but I'm hoping that tightening them is as simple as securing the back nut with a socket and ratcheting the front. Please can anyone advise if I'm correct.
Also, is there any other maintenance I should be performing? I read somewhere that I should be putting turtle wax on the camper jacks. Does anyone else do this to maintain them?
I checked all the caulk seals around the camper and they seem good, nothing dry and cracking yet. I'm thinking I wait one more year before messing with them.
