Hwy 287 from Rawlins Wy to Dubois Wy

Hey,
We are in Rawlins Wy. We are going to Grand Teton NP. We have a 13? 1? fifth wheel what is the best route.
Looks like Hwy 287 or should we go further up and go Hwy 191?

Either route should work fine. I've driven a 45 ft. motorhome over both.

While I agree with Larry, I would go up 287 through Dubois as that is a more scenic route and probably takes less time.

Think you both for the info. I have been through Dubois and I?m familiar with that part but we came in from Cody. I just wasn?t sure about the area from the Rawlins side. Thanks again!

From Rawlins to Lander you pass through semiarid prairie country that is mostly sagebrush and a few antelope and ferrell horses. From Lander to Dubois it gets more scenic but still no great changes in altitude or grades. I suspect that your previous trip was via US26 from Riverton so much of that section will be familiar.
