im trying figure out the engine used. i see it is a cummins, and it does say cummins inter cooled on side of the motor home. but i need model name of engine

Hard to guess. That was before the electronic control engines, so probably an old "B" (5.9L) or "C" (8.3L). Both are 6 cylinder, in-line engines, so I'm not sure how to tell them apart.  The larger coaches may have used a Cummins "L" engine, 8.9L 6-in-line.

Got it thank you. I know on newer Cummins they place the engine label on top of valve cover. I wonder if they did that back in 94? I gotta ho back tomorrow and see

Do you know who built the chassis? If it is Freightliner,  you can call them with the VIN and they probably can tell you. 1-800-FTL-HELP.

The larger ( 855 ci) mechanical Cummins had a tag on the accessorie drive just in front of the air compressor. Tag contains the CPL ( control parts list) number among other things. You?ll need this CPL number if you ever need parts for engine.
