CBC ran a story about a man attempting to pull out his boat of the water. Apparently the prop dragged on the bottom so he hopped out of the vehicle and attempted to lift the leg. The vehicle rolled backwards, he panicked, jumped out of the boat and got run over by the vehicle. A tow truck pulled the now submerged hybrid SUV onto the ramp  where it went BOOM and caught fire. The propane powered tow truck was quickly unhooked and escaped unscathed.  He wasn't seriously injured but deserves a Darwin honourable mention. ;D

We have (or used to have) a column in a local newspaper called 'Bonehead Boater'. Since we live in a water-based community, the author has lots of fodder.
