Fridge not working. When I press the auto button the check light starts rapidly flickering (not the usual flash you would get if something is not set right). The interior light also flickers.  There is also a rapid clicking noise.  Help!

First question would be..... Could your battery be discharged? It can cause those very symptoms.

Definitely sounds like low 12v power (voltage) at the fridge, but a bad circuit board in the fridge is a possibility. Start by verifying that the 12v power feed to the back of the fridge is delivering good power, at least 12.0v. In theory the fridge will work as low of 10.5v, but it is designed to utilize 12.0v-14.0v.

If you have a volt meter, check your battery voltage at the batteries. You can also plug your camper into auxillary power or fire up the generator (if you have one) either one of those options should supply a proper voltage for appliance usage. If the appliance continues to not function, find the control board and remove the connector to it and then reinstall it a few times. Inspect both the board and the connector during that process.

Welcome to the Forum!

Some background information for you.

Check the battery voltage.  12.6V is a fully charged battery.
Anything below 12.0V indicates the battery needs charged.
If it is plugged in and the converter is on, the battery should read 13.6V, which is the converter output voltage to charge the battery.

If your battery checks out, please provide the make and model of the fridge.
