Soon to be headed to Red River NM from the Amarillo Texas area. has anyone had any problems or concerns towing a5th wheel into that area? Planning on going through Cimarron, and Eagles Nest coming from the east.

Was just up there the first of June.  No problems getting around. Towed 24 ft trailer with 32 ft class c. It was cold at night  , nice during the day. River running high and murky, if you plan to fish. Rainy in afternoons. Everything very green, from heavy snow and rains.

Watch your speed going down into Red River. The grade is fairly steep with some curves but nothing to bad. Eagle Nest speed enforcement is pretty strict. The road from Cimarron to Eagle Nest is twisty and narrow in places but not very steep. From Eagle Nest to the top of Bobcat pass is a gentle climb.
