I just purchased the above RV A/C unit and installed it myself competently. ( I am a retired 40 year general contractor.) At start up, all I get is the fan blowing on all settings.  No cooling comes out.  Is there possibly some simple reset for the compressor that might have tripped or other internal fuse, etc. that I could review.

To make matters worse I am currently on the road traveling from Colorado, to Cincinnati and then up to Prince Edward Island and back to our Florida Keys home in October.

I have tried factory approved service in Colorado and Cincinnati with the earliest appointment available at July 23. (most were not accepting appointments until early September- what a crock.)

Thanks for your thoughts.

Are you on shore power or using a generator big enough to handle the start up power spike of the ac?

Does this unit have a built in controls or require a seperate thermostat?
Built in, are your sure your set to cool and not fan?
Seperate thermistst, is the thermostat wired correctly?

Yes, I am on shore power. And this unit has control knobs on the unit which include settings for low/hi fan and low/hi cool. Then, a second knob for temp control. It does not have a thermostat.
