Hey all.
Been real busy this summer. Not enough time to even plan a trip, so here I am trying to salvage an early September trip to the great lakes.
Looking for advice on destinations and campgrounds. Open to all options.
The limiting factors are:
The US side only.
Interested in lakes Superior, Huron and Michigan
We have two weeks in total.
Leaving from north central Pa, so it should only be about 12 hours to say Mackinac
We have a new puppy, and she will be about 8 months when this happens, so long day trips won't be likely unless she can come with us.
Also because the puppy I need a bail out option if things don't go well where we can plant ourselves and stay close.
We're good with a slower paced/relaxing trip. The past few were long and a lot of travel involved.
