Mini Rally Chelan & Winthrop WA

Steve and I caught up with the wonderful Anne and Tony Lemon again and spent several days exploring the areas around Chelan and Winthrop.

We did the boat trip to Stehekin from Chelan which was lovely.

The town of Winthrop was a surprise, it is an old wild west style town with neat little shops and a good mining museum up on the hill.  We then did part of the Cascade Loop drive and saw the magically blue Lake Diablo.  What a place!

We may meet up with them again as our trips are heading in the same direction.

We can't shake these two off! Met them again on the Olympic Peninsula in 2 different campgrounds.  South Beach and Quinault Casino.

We were really lucky to get some nice weather at South Beach, beautiful sunsets and bio luminescence in the sea!

Even got a photo of the 4 of us, go me!!

I don't know if it was a picture of the 4 of you. All I see is you  and Steve and 2 people in the background.  They could be anyone.  I don't believe it's considered official.  Need more evidence.  :o ::) :-\ ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ;) ;)

How long will you be in the area? We are in Sequim right now, just pulled in. We plan on going to Olympic National Park tomorrow. Can we arrange yet another mini rally?

What Jackie forgot to mention was that we seem to find a nice sight, they follow in, we teach them new card games which they then beat us at, and then we have a drink or two. They're pretty useful for IT support though. Damn good company as well. High Kevin and Pam, the rally has moved South to Oregon, don't know about Jackiemacs plans for the next few weeks as they have visitors (think they were craving decent company) we will be on the Oregon coast for a couple more weeks.

Jackie, I agree with Rene, can't be a picture of me, you would have needed wide angle and Greenpeace would have been there trying to refloat me. Definitely more evidence needed. :P

Death Valley...are you talking the 49er's encampment?  Looking for something after we get done in Bishop at the end of Oct.
