While we were at a campground in Missouri last month we were not able wash clothes at the campground because the laundry was completely shutdown - and had been for a long time.

We found a really neat little laundromat in a nearby town, Oak Grove.  Clean and very well maintained, it was quite a lot better than most laundromats we've used over the years. It's called Salem Storage and Suds and is located on Salem Street.  Oak Grove is on I70 west of Independence and Kansas City.

I've done a little review, with photos, on the laundromat here.

The resort was a members-only campground in financial trouble, with an offer that has been tendered by a family owned investment group that would probably open the campground to the general public.  The members overwhelming approved the offer on July 9th.  I posted earlier about that campground here.
