I have a truck and fifth wheel.
I am at Rocky Mountain NP and will be traveling to Pikes Peak. Then off to Black Canyon NP. I am wondering if the roads to Black Canyon are as crazy as the road over the hill (Trail Ridge Rd) in Rocky Mountain.
Google says to take US 24 to US 50. I saw a few large vehicles traveling over the Trail Ridge Rd and I was glad it was not me. I could have done it, but I think my heart prefers the interstate.
Is that road OK, or is there a better road?
