If it has a macerator system, that may be true. It's fairly common on high end coaches that have permanently installed macerator pumps and use small-diameter drain hoses. The small hose is more convenient to use and store, and you can drain the waste water over longer distances or uphill terrain.
Update: I checked the 2018 View brochure and it does indeed have a macerator pump system for waste water.
