Hey everyone!
My husband and our dog are moving from Chicago to Utah! We are super excited about the move and new adventure to come. That being said, we have a moving company taking our belongings, but we are hoping to make a nice road-trip out of it and an RV Rental is our ideal option. Especially with the dog.

Unfortunately, there is not a single RV in the country available for this trip. (full disclosure there are some options, but they would cost us an insane amount of money due to the one way) We believe we have tried everything, but am hopeful that this forum can help.

Looking to rent 10/8-10/15 or less.

Thanking you in advance.

Best,
Jess, Greg & Riley

Have you checked with CruiseAmerica? They do one way rentals, but you can't book them on-line. There are rental dealers in and near Chicago, and Salt Lake City.

We have. They do not have any vehicles that can go that route. Basically, lots are full in SLC.  thanks!

Cross country RV travel in an RV could be real iffy at best.  The vast majority of RV parks will be closed down by then.  While rare, freezing weather could become a problem.  You might reconsider and simply drive it.  There are websites that list pet priendly motels.  If you do your research you could have all stops planned out ahead of time.
