Quick question,

When stopped at a site whether that be overnight or a week should I be taking off the WD chains and sway bar?

We?re headed out for a two night trip and didn?t plan on moving the truck once parked.

If I was to park for a couple hours, then no.  If I was overnight and leaving early the next morning, then no.  If I was parking for a couple of days then yes.  Never know when you will need the tow vehicle.  If you choose to not unhitch at least be sure to unplug the umbilical cord.  You dont want your tow vehicle battery to be run down.

I wouldn't worry about it unless the trailer can't be leveled. The umbilical cord won't be  problem if the tow vehicle is equipped with an isolator solenoid controlled by the ignition switch. If properly wired it should have one.

Couple days, no big deal.  I never can get level enough connected.  I'd still take some weight off the truck with your tongue jack.
