DW gave me a Christmas present that fans of electric guitars might enjoy: "The Birth of Loud: Leo Fender, Les Paul, and the Guitar-Pioneering Rivalry that Shaped Rock 'n' Roll" by Ian S. Port (Scribner, 2019). I'm just 50 pages in but it's fascinating reading so far.
