When I went to college in the late 60s I took a violin class but was quickly changed to viola since no one else volunteered. After playing awhile I got the bright idea that I would build my own violin. I bought a book on violin making. By the end of the first chapter I realized I stood a better chance of flapping my arms and flying to the moon than building a violin. I am horrible at working with wood.
