Greetings,

Hope it is o.k. to crash the party but I took some KOFA pictures when I was there earlier on. This was before the January group got in. Wanted to share some of the photos I took to try and compliment the others. The first 5 are the general area of KOFA and the terrain. Last two are Astrophoto shots of the night time sky. First is M45 or the Pleiades and second is the Flame and Horsehead nebula. Taken with a four inch lens which is pretty small for getting a shot of the horsehead area. AL

Debra very nice set of photos!

Thank you all!  I love photography and now that I am retired, I?m able to spend a lot more time learning and doing it. Sharing photos with others makes it all that much more fun!

It was sure nice seeing everyone at KOFA again. We left Pam and Kevin there by themselves this morning, so now only they can enjoy the scenery.

I took a few pics before Jeff and Judy headed for Sedona a few days ago. The RV sunset pic is their rig the night before Jeff?s passing. We toasted him last night and decided that the campsite He loves so much will be known as Jeff?s Camp from now on, and we memorialized it with some rocks. I?ll maintain it every time I go there.

Judy is doing well - as well as can be expected after such an unexpected tragedy, and she thanks everyone for their offers of help and support.

Kev

I'm so glad you did that Kevin. I'll look for it whenever I am in KOFA.  I had a long drive today, about 6 hours and a sad day.

We are still at Jeff?s camp, though we expect to travel tomorrow. We had planned on today, but the winds were high and the site lovely so ... It will be hard to get used to having neighbors 5-10? away after this incredible quiet. Rest In Peace Jeff.
