Low DEF Warning Indicator

250 miles from home and the yellow engine light popped up along with  Low DEF? indicator screen. The DEF tank is full and  I have read the possible causes including bad DEF and a bad DEF filter. My question is am I safe driving it 250 miles to get home for New Years Eve then getting it serviced locally or do I need to seek out a Cummins dealer for a fix on the road?

Call Freightliner at 1-800-FTL HELP. They are available everyday 24 hours. Just have the last 5 digits of your VIN.
I'm pretty sure you'll be okay driving the 250 miles. The yellow light is a "heads up"
 
Welcome to the forum.
I don't know if anyone will stick there neck out and give you an answer. I would touch base with a Cummins dealer.
