Having finally made it to the Connecticut casinos during a recent vacation to Bar Harbor, I thought I'd share the differences I noted between them.
RV Parking: Mohegan has a big lot. Foxwoods RV parking in Lot A has several tree lined islands or edges (see "New rules at Foxwoods:" elsewhere in Forum [Destinations]).
Food: Mohegan Sun has more restaurants than Foxwoods.
Casinos: Mohegan Sun has 2 and Foxwoods has 5. Foxwoods is adding an MGM across the street. Mohegan Sun table limits are higher than at most other casinos in the U.S.
Shuttles: Foxwoods' shuttles are more frequent. You don't even have to watch the clock, they come so frequently. Mohegan Sun's shuttles are less frequent, but, they have better air conditioning.
