I have a 2000 Winnebago Journey which has an R-title. I currently have Progressive, liability only. We have some long trips ahead of us this year so I am looking for full coverage options. However, Progressive does not offer full coverage on R-titled motorhomes. My insurance agent couldn't find any other carrier that would.

So I am curious whether anyone here has had any success in getting full coverage on an R-titled class A MH, and if so, which carrier?

R stands for Rebuilt. It had been previously bwrecked.

Correct, Reconstructed is what the title says I believe.

In some States I believe that is called a salvage title.

When you buy a vehicle that has been totaled, you receive a salvage title. At least in my state, it's illegal to drive a salvage-titled vehicle on the road. Once it has been repaired, it needs to pass an enhanced inspection, after which you receive a Reconstructed title.
