Favorite Park In Casa Grande AZ

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Thanks for your response but who said anything about being bored? I'm looking for more information other than activities, perhaps I should have been more clear. For instance:

Is the property convenient to shopping and medical
Is there reliable high speed internet service
Is the electric reliable
Does the property provide cable or do I need to consider other option
Is the cost in-line with the amenities
Is the weather warm & sunny
Are there really nice local eateries
Whats in the area to see that would make a nice day trip

As soon as I stetted to post these questions I realized I could have worded the original post better than I did, my apologies.

Walking distance ( 2-3 blocks) to food stores, Walmart and restaurants. Hospital less than a mile
HOme depot and Lowes across the street.
Rodeo in Casa Grande in February and an Indian Pow Wow in a small town near Casa Grande in March.
4 casinos within an hours drive
Phoenix less than one hour away, Tucson about an hour and fifteen minutes
Dining is mostly chain restaurants but Casa Grande has a few interesting local eating places. Mostly Mexican but barbecue, Italian and fine dining are available and good.

Every other Saturday there is a free concert at the local  mall with many different types of  singers. Last week was a Jazz singer. There is a food truck roundup at the same time.

Electric is maintained buy the local power company and if staying longer than 30 days it will need to be put in your name
Cable and internet is by COX if you are short term you can rent t he box from the office longer term you need to go to COX
Internet is also provided by JABBACOM.COM but is limited to 7mps for $30.00.

Cost is very in line with amenities offered. Be careful as some parks have gone to PAY TO PLAY pricing
Weather can get cold for Arizona we had a prolonged cold spell in the fifties about a week ago but 95% of the days are sunny.
Oh and let us not forget the dirt race track and the local women's Roller derby club

Tortilla flats, on the Apache trail is nice day trip
Old Tucson where many westerns were shot is about an hour and a half away as is the air force bone yard near Tucson (must call ahead for admittance and tour).
Spring training for the Cubs and the Cardinals is less than an hour away.
There are local dances where if you can two step and waltz you will dance the night away.
The local number for Fiesta Grande is 520 426 7000

Awesome post thank you! Can you educate me on Pay to Play, not familiar with the term with regards to RV park pricing?

At Fiesta Grande...have a washing machine add $10.00 per month.  Have a pet $30.00 per month.  Maintenance is no longer spraying weeds so park looks tacky .. pot holes all over the place....Heavy rain the road flood and water puddles will remain for days after.  This park is corporate owned( Thousand Trails) and it is plain they are spending the money somewhere else.  Residents are friendly and it is close to Wally World, Fry Food Store and eateries.  Over the past 8-9 years the water was shut off several times during to repair leaks for several hours.  We always had our fresh water topped off for that reason.  Several snowbirds have moved out for some of these reasons and a few more, such has the broken promise to add more pickle ball courts.

Suggest you may want to check out Sundance 1 RV.  Little farther away for everything but much cleaner park. link to their website    https:sundance1rv.com
WiFi is available as is cable TV.  Electric supply by AZ power and never been a problem (We used a surge protector anyway) Some people say their cell phone is spotty, we not experience any problems.  Closer to the train tracks but it a trade off with the sirens of the firetrucks running at all hours of the day,  and you'll still hear the trains about 3/4 of a mile away.

There are about half dozen more around here.  The other main one is Palm Creek.  Nice but pricey.

As far as the weather, December and January little cool, lows can be in the low 30's  days warm up to 50-60's February the temps high 60's low 70's cools down quickly after dark.  From there is goes up with most snowbirds heading out mid March 1st of April.

Sundance may have 3 month minimum, they do have short term(overnighters). This time of the year those sites, 10 or so, often fill up. Yesterday there was 2 open that I noticed as I went by.  Fiesta Grande has about the same number and last year they were also filled most of the time.

Visiting friends over at Fiesta Grande today we were told that their rates for 3-4 months are going to increase $1,000.00 next year.  Seems park management wants full time renters only.  We drove around a little and this is the first year in the past 9 years that we had stayed there that the park was pretty full. Personally, I think it was that they opened the entire park to pets last year. They announced last year that they were going to charge $60.00 per pet(Dogs, cats, pot belly pigs) starting this season. Said it was going to be used for DNA testing of pet poop.  This season annual residents $60.00 everybody else $30.00 a month. 3month stay $90.00  4 month $120 5 months $150.00.  WOW!!!

Boy I really feel bad that you hate the residents here so badly. But as the annual rents have not been announced yet I would discount all the rumor mongers I am an annual renter.
In addition new pickle ball courts were never PROMISED the owners have put together a plan to increase the number of pickle ball courts in the future along with other improvements.

Ten areas were repaved last summer with another ten areas scheduled for this coming summer.
Weeds were sprayed 2 weeks ago
Wow the fire trucks are the parks problem and the train whistles that can be heard as the trains go through town are not disturbing to me ot he 650 other residents here.

What got you so PO'd at the nice park with wonderful people?
Can I get you to stay away with all your negativity

Well I went to the front office yesterday as it was the first day to sign up for next years sites. The average monthly increase was about $30 to $35
per month.  Peak periods higher end low periods lower end. While yearly rates have not been announced the increase should be less than $400.00.
OP Please come down and explore the area. While here explore the various parks till you find a fit.
