At the RV show today we saw a new brand of 5th wheel, Alliance.  They seem to be a nice build quality, attractive layout, and decent materials.

Their first Paradigm models were built in September 2019.  The brand is unaffiliated with other manufacturers (e.g. Thor, Forest River, etc.).

We're giving serious consideration to purchase.  Has anyone here had any experience with or exposure to these units?  We'd be grateful for any input.

There cannot be any meaningful experience available if the very first ones were built only 4-5 months ago. Heck, they company didn't even exist until about August of 2019.

RVs aren't all that hard to build, but any new company and staff are going to have some hiccups. Caveat Emptor.

We purchased a 31RL Alliance Paradigm fifth wheel in March 2022. There are a few minor things that the dealer needs to fix, but I hear that from everyone who buys a new RV. We've only had it out twice so far, but we really like it. We had a 37' KZ Durango Gold that was stolen from our storage yard and never recovered. This 31 foot Alliance has basically the same floor plan (which we love), but not the length of the 37', which we also love.
The builders of the Alliance worked for another manufacturer, so they are not new to the industry. What we like is that they surveyed thousands of RV owners to see what they liked and disliked in their RV, then designed the Alliance products based on the results of the survey.
Pros: self-closing doors and drawers, no carpet, huge atrium windows (nice for the view), lighting everywhere (even dimmer switches, which is nice for evening tv watching), room darkening roller shades, HUGE (turkey-sized oven) and 4-burner stove, and tons of storage (even behind the fireplace).
Cons: bathroom storage is a little small, no built-in vacuum (not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice), master bed is a little hard to make due to it being king sized and having the nightstands extend out. I do like the nightstands on both sides of the bed though!
We still have more camping to do, so we'll see how it measures up. So far, so good!

The Alliance brand and set up is very similar to a company in the UK that launched into the caravan (TT) market a few years ago. They made a few prototypes and displayed them at shows for feedback. They were unique in their design having a slide out, and inputted ideas from the public before production. They were also extremely competitively priced.
Unfortunately, they went into receivership, having taken deposits at a major show, leaving many people out of pocket.
I hope that doesn't get repeated here.

As my signature line indicates, we purchased an Alliance. We have been extremely well satisfied with the experience. Their customer service is phenomenal, which seems to reflect the entire company's culture. They have been growing at a rapid pace.
This week we are attending an Alliance rally with over 200 units participating.

An update on our purchase of the 31RL Alliance Paradigm. We are really happy with the purchase, but (as with most manufacturers) we had some minor warranty issues that needed to be addressed. It is at the dealer now, getting those issues fixed.

I love the residential oven, but was disappointed to find out that it will only light when connected to shore power or a generator because it uses an electronic ignition. We don't currently have a generator on the rig and may not be able to buy one right away. You can light the stove with a fire starter when not hooked up to shore power or a generator, they just don't recommend lighting the oven with a fire starter. So, the moral is, don't plan meals made in the oven unless you are on shore power or generator :).

Alliance also offered a free RV Training Academy online, which goes over every aspect of the coach. I find these training videos very helpful!
