The ukulele Band has been whacking away for a few weeks, and the result is ...
In preparation for our May concert, the Delta Strummers rehearsal list has been cut from 43 to 24 numbers, plus two encore numbers. 15 of the 26 concert numbers came from recent open mic' sessions, and are new-to-us; They include some new vocal and instrumental challenges.
This time around, we'll be accompanied on stage for 3-4 numbers by students from the elementary school advanced ukulele class being taught by Band members.
We're back at El Campanil Theatre in Antioch, always a great venue for audience and performers.
