The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain was suppose to make three appearances in Florida in March and I have a ticket to all three shows in the front row. Yesterday I got email notifications that two of the shows were cancelled due to the virus and I am guessing the third one will too. I was bummed about this but I decided that the only way to lift my spirits out of the blue was to buy a guitar I have been eyeballing. I bought a book last month that is nothing but guitar porn. It is called 1001 Guitars to Dream of Playing before you Die. I am about half way through the book and about every fourth or fifth guitar I have to do an Internet search to see how much that particular guitar is selling for.

I did a search on Ural electric guitars that are a Soviet brand and ended up on a page full of pretty guitars and ended up ordering a splat maple Les Paul copy. This has lifted me out of my funk.

Not sure how I ended up on their mailing list, but I got an email from the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra that they successfully continued their recent show -- played to an empty auditorium and streamed the show live online. Obviously not the same experience, but at least the performance was still accessible.

I'm thinking that if you ordered one of those Chinese guitars today you'd end up waiting months for it to be delivered.

If you look at the listing on eBay it says right there that delivery is 2 to 3 months. That is fine with me. I have two Les Pauls that work perfectly. Buy most of my purchases online so I am used to waiting. It is my birthday present to me.

Nice Brother,

I did see a photo of your acoustical Set Up somewhere buried in RV Forum pages. 

When she shows up at your door, I am pretty sure you and kill some hours slapping your cancelled show / blues out of that beauty.

I did see Cirque De Solis In a Tent Somewhere last year in a Mall Parking Lot in Orlando, FL.

Not sure, but I bet that acrobatic tent is rolled up somewhere now days.
