The most exciting one was the bear on the road. We were in Alaska and had seen 10-15 bears. Those next to the road had always ran into the bush when the van got within 1-2 hundred yards. We slowed way down as we approached this one hoping to get a good picture before he took off into the bush. He didn't! As we got really close going about 5 mph (all windows closed of course) he turned and came right at us. My wife was taking the picture as she was yelling GO!, GO!, GO!. Think we were less than 10 feet from him as we sped off. Do prefer our close-ups of wild animals using a telephoto lenses.NY_Dutch said:
