I recently bought a 1983 trav l mate camper. Original wall paneling had been removed by previous owner and replaced with 1/8" mohogany. All in all it looks really bad, the edges frayed when cut, and the overall appearance of the vineer looks cheap. It wasn't professionally done mind you, the guy tried his best. So, I'd like to refinish the interior. I'm looking for recommendations on products to use. Ideally something thin, lightweight, and paintable. Thanks!!

When I rebuilt my TC I used pre-painted aluminum on the inside walls. Tedious work whether you use wood or aluminum. I used it because, it was prefinished, light, would not get moldy and was easy to clean.
