Living room slide topper sags when it rains.  Have to run slide in to remove water.  Any suggestions on how to keep water off?

I place 2 small soccer sized balls between it and the roof. I have a telescoping ladder. You can have it adjusted to tighten it up. Balls are cheaper.

I have the same issue and just live with it. The water evaporates after a few days or a fairly strong wind picks up the topper and the water runs off.

The longer the slide, the worse this is. Our LR/Kitchen slide is 19-20í long, and it is the only one that holds significant water. The other 3 slides, all significantly shorter, donít have the same problem. We just pull the slide in a few inches after a rain. The solutions of putting a beach ball or other lightweight objects underneath the topper just donít work for us since we travel frequently.

It's pretty much the norm and most live with it. Others put a beach ball between topper and slide roof, or make some sort of frame with pvc pipe to hold it up like a tent.  All those drainage aids are a nuisance to insert and remove each time you need to move, so you have to decide whether the pooling bothers you more than the fix for it..

I use Tether balls.  The ropes make them easy to remove.  I just had a very good idea.  I'm going to get a much longer rope so I can use the rope to gets them up there as well.  Duh!  Been doing it the hard way for 9 years!
