Thanks Wendy. Having led a sheltered life, I'm easily confused. I'll pass the tip along to the cleaning lady.

Looks like Wendy is giving Tom a good education on player cards. ;D ;D ;D

Only thing you don't see me telling him to do with the card is gamble with it !!

But you are teaching from your own experience and since you indicated you don't gamble guess that would be best left for somebody that does. ;D ;D ;D

Yep, those 2 messages pretty well sum up players cards. I have several dozen players cards and I don't gamble. But you get points and discounts for other things, too....RV sites, gasoline, meals, etc. And if you have a card and they see you're not using it, they often send you invitations with really good deals on them. You also get points for putting money into machines even if you don't actually gamble that money (put in $20 and immediately cash out). And you get a nifty chain/clip that you can use for other things, not to mention a plastic card that works good for cleaning.

Wendy

Thank you , Wendy, (and all other nice folks.)

Glad  i learned something again today.

ever try to clean small cracks between tile in the kitchen? Or under the knobs on the stove?

Wendy, as Betty would say, that's a "pink" job.  Highly doubtful that Tom or the majority of the other guys on this forum have ever done that particular task!  ;D

All, glad you liked the report.  Just got back online after several days of being off.

Ardra, I suspect I'm not the only male here who does or has done pink jobs. OTOH Chris makes sure I don't do them very often. As for cleaning small crevices, I normally use an appropriately sized screwdriver  ;)

Hi Tom,

Chris never told you that she has a players card?. :) Better remember her to get it out of the safe since we are going to stay at the Seven Feathers  on our route from McCloud to Salem.

Acttually Tom if the truth be known most of us just do as we are told and when asked we use the famous last two words we all know so well. ;D ;D

LOL Chris, maybe she does. When she knows we're going to be at a casino, Chris raids my accumulated loose pocket change and plays the penny slots.

When Ron wakes up in the morning his first words are "yes dear", just in case he missed something that Sam said as he was coming around  ;D

Guess I am not like you in that resppect Tom, I just read your response and she said that is not true. ;D ;D

We stayed at Seven Feathers RV Resort Saturday night on our way to Salem. Everything Ardra said about the place is true and it's definitely a park we would return to. This was also one of the few campgrounds (maybe the first?) where we've used the park showers; They were immaculate.

We didn't stop at the casino first - there didn't seem to be a lot of space to park an RV. We proceeded to their easy-access truck stop to fill up, then on to registration. We went to the casino to eat that evening and signed up for players club cards. Sunday morning we presented a players card to the campground office and received a 10% refund on the site fee. By not getting the players card before filling up, we missed the discount on diesel.

The shuttle between the CG and the casino left a lot to be desired; In retrospect, we could have saved a lot of time if we'd unhooked a car, driven to the casino and taken valet parking.
