Welcome to the RVForum Ahrens. With a fridge made in 1986, you might have to manually switch it to run off A/C power. I don't know if a 1986 fridge would switch automatically, or not. And like was mentioned earlier, an LP fridge can take a loooong time to cool down. I used to turn ours on a day before we needed it.
If the fridge is set to run off AC power, you may have a power problem since your AC units aren't working either. I think you'll have a Main breaker, and a breaker for each of the AC units. Start by turning the thermostat off, then reset each of those breakers - turn them off, then back on. You should also verify that the power source's breaker/GFI hasn't tripped.
