I have the Dish Pay-as-you-go account in the RV (use cable at home) and use the MyDish app to activate and pay for service when we leave on a camping trip. But why pay for 30 days when we may only be gone for a week or so? Called Dish, and after innumerable "for this, select _" actions, was told my account did not have the feature (?) Called again, another agent suspended the account and gave me a credit. When I asked if I could start - stop the service using the app, he said he would send instructions, but instead sent me a link to the Apple store.
I have the app on my phone and use it, but cannot seem to find a way to temporarily suspend service without calling Dish.
Is there a way?
