After over a month of over 80 degree temps, it dropped to the 70s last week, and after the remnants of Laura goes through tonight, tomorrow is forecast for a high of 66.  Summer's over for another year.  Unfortunately, it is likely we won't be able to head south next winter, so DW and I are going to have a cold few months.  BRRRRR!

Hopefully, things will change by the end of the year.

Here's an interesting read regarding one docs view on when this is going to end.

Bottom line for this laboratory medicine specialist at Yale Medicine and professor of laboratory medicine at Yale School of Medicine, like measles and other viruses it's going to be with us for a long time.  Because of the way it's spread and the many carriers who don't have symptoms this doc believes it ain't going away.

For what it's worth, MEDIPAC is covering snowbirds for travel to the USA this year.  We got our notice about 3 weeks ago.  We are going to wait until the numbers start to drop a bit or a vaccine starts to get distributed.

edited.  Didn't see Rene's last post.

Rene, Sarge and other moderators, rather than lock the thread, why not remove posts that are in violation of Forum rules.  In fact, suspend members who violate rules repeatedly.  They can still read posts if they're interested in what's going on.  I think this is pretty important stuff and like reading about the views of other RVers.

The OP had changed his original post and requested I modify mine because it had his comments in it so I did what he asked and everyone is now happy.
