Hi y'all...just finished a 4700 mile trip from Mass to Colorado, then up to SD and Devil's Tower WY..got caught near Cedar Rapids Iowa during a "Derecho" storm,(never heard of that before), on Aug 10th. 112 mph winds. Youtube that and you won't believe it. Wiped out 43% of Iowa's corn & soybean crop. That was crazy, thank god we had a rest stop to duck into off 1-90 right as the storm hit. I pulled a Jayco 23B Hybrid TT,( about 5000lbs loaded, with a 2019 Ram 1500...WD Hitch, and sway bar...towed like butter. Caught the last day of the Sturgis rally, saw Crazy Horse, MT Rushmore, Deadwood, Devil's Tower, and best of all, saw my brand new granddaughter in FT Collins CO for 5 days!! Great trip all around.

Wow, I saw photos of that storm and the damage caused, you were lucky to get out of its way.

Congratulations on your trip, nice part of the country, and on the new family member!

No Arch...no trouble getting reservations in Rapid City SD.  We were there 3 days.
