For when and where? That's a rather large area you referenced in your subject line. But lows are in the 30s and 40s in the Rockies and there's plenty of smoke (lighter today in Denver than in the past few days), highs eastern CO in the mid-80s today. You can probably google for a town near where you want to go. Also, Colorado road conditions are at: https://www.cotrip.org/home.htm

Should have been more clear,,,, But we normally get a 10 day forecast , but was curious about the smoke and temps and any expected fronts coming across with the snow like Wyoming saw last week for the next week to ten days.  And I am not equipped for much more than temporary overnight freezing temps.  So from Denver and south of I 70 west.

 I live in Cedar City Utah at 6ooo feet and we have been having dry and cool weather consistantly, ( 50s at night and 80 - 85 day's with no smoke due to the topography..>>>Dan

Around 70 high, 40’s lows, little or no precipitation, next 10 days, SW WY, elev. 7000’.  Figure 10 degrees cooler at 10,000’.

In addition to all the info above, note that we recently set some records here on the Front Range -- 101º high one day, upper 90s the next, low 90s the next, then a high of 34º with snow, then the temps gradually crept back up 5º to 10º per day 'til we were again in the 90s, now down to mid-to upper 80s.

You can expect at many higher elevations that the temps are 10º or more colder, but there was nothing for Denver in the next 7 days that was less than 80º for a high. Still, check out that graphical weather link I gave you -- you can check precip, temps and much more out to 10 days ahead, and narrow the view to a city or out to a region or broader, even.

Thanks, I can deal with a quick snow and then warm back up, in case I get in the wrong area . We wanted to get back to Jackson, but will probably forgo that this trip. We are not staying on the road as long this time.  Got to get back for fall fishing season and finish up the hull that I started before it gets too cold for the glue and paint to cure properly.

KSL missed our forecast low (40) this morning by 10 degrees.  Thermometer on the deck is reading 30
