We are just starting to look for a used 5er. We have found a 2002 28' Hornet low profile - love the floor plan! It also has screening to attach to the conopy. However, the salesman told us it has a wood frame. They have it priced at 16,500. We are trying to make an informed decision, as for us, this is a lot of money. If this one isn't a good idea, could I get some input as to what we could find in that price range? We are located SW of Fort Worth, TX.

Nothing wrong with a wood frame - it's just a bit heavier than aluminum, but as long as moisture hasn't gotten to it, it's still a good frame - gotta consider, what kind of frame does your stick house have?

Price seems kinda high for a 5 year old unit though.
