A lot of things but not everything.

Find out the gross vehicle weight rating of the trailer (GVWR).

Divide the GVWR of the trailer by 0.9 to allow yourself a 10% safety factor.  If you would tow in the mountain or Pacific west, make that divide by 0.8 to allow a 20% factor.

Take the resultant number and go to the Trailer Life Tow rating tables HERE.  Look for vehicles with tow ratings equal to or greater than the number.  Be sure to read all the footnotes, including those on the rear end ratio.

Just that simple. ;D

With those vehicles you are probably looking at a max of a 1500-2000 lb trailer, but it depends to some extent on the engine and rear axle they have and what else you will carry in them.  The Ranger with a V6 is rated higher, up to around 3800-4000 lbs, but I would stay well below that figure.

Minivans are not great tow vehicles and older ones like your Caravan are often tired anyway.
