i want to build a carrier for a 400# propane tank to put on the back of my toy hauler fifth wheel. I have a heavy duty reciever hitch on the rear that is engineered to yank around a 5000# trailer with 800# toung weight.

Has anyone seen this done? I am thinking i may put another 1 or 2 reciever slots beside the trailer reciever and build a removable platform so that in the summer i can still open my garage door.

Oh yea, and any1 know of length limitations to a single fifth wheel. my rig is 43 feet long, and with the f-450 in fron it is a total of 60 feet. i am planning on adding about 4 feet to the tail end.

I have lots of room to add weight. the unit sits at 14,200# right now(on the axels). that is loaded with everything including fresh water tank full (120gal). I am good to 18,000# on the axels
