We enjoyed visiting with Ron, Sam, Frank & Barb.  And thank them for their hospitality, they were a great introduction to personally meet someone from the forum.  Bert was a little unruly at first; but settled down.  This Nov will be the first trip with our new RV & we were able to ask numerous questions re clubs, RV parks, etc. Looking forward to heading out from Traverse City, the first part of Nov & meeting more members in Quartzsite.  Thank you for the warm welcome.  Sandy & Dale

Sandy & Dale,

If you haven't already done so, you may care to drop a note in this topic letting Bob Buchanan and others know you'll be at Quartzsite. It's not a formal signup per se, but it gives Bob a heads up on who to expect.

Sandy and Dale, Looking forward to meeting you in Quartzsite. If you find yourself in Death Valley before then, stop in at Sunset Campground and say "hi."

Enjoy
Wendy

Thanks for the heads up Tom.  I posted to Bob that we plan on attending (sounds like a great experience).  And, Wendy thanks for the invite, we will be spending the month prior to Quartzsite with my brother and family in Florence, AZ.

After a week of fine weather with temps in the 80s Barb and Frank departed yesterday so they can get ready to head out to the South East Rally.  Problem is Barb and Frank must have taken the fine weather with them as it started cooling off yesterday afternoon and the high so far today is 52F with rain with the same forcast for tomorrow.
We did have a very enjoyable visit with Barb and Frank.

We will likely be getting together again with Dale and Sandy this week.

The Traverse City minie rally continued as the Reimers and Ruwards had an excellent dinner at Boones in Traverse City.  In the attached photo left to right are Karen, Sam, Rons seat, and Dale.

Ron,

Frank & Barb must be somewhere close by. It has rained everyday since we arrived at the Johnsons and now the sky is severe clear with no chance of improvement!!! :) Looks like we just might get in a ride before we leave tomorrow.

We had a great time in TC with Sam & Ron.  And it did start to cool down to normal temps after we left.  (90 in oct. is just not right) We left Monday for Wales West.  And had rain all the way till this morning.  Yes we are close.  And it's not raining.  64d outside.  We're a Wales West. We thought we'd arrive early, so we could be the welcome committee.

Barb & Frank Weimert

If it gets very warm down there then it must be Frank and Barb that brought it down with them from TC.  Hope you all have a great time.

Well, it is in Death Valley, although by now it should be below 90 but isn't....I think we attract weird weather.

Wendy

Gee Wendy you and Mikle seem to attract that hot weather.  60F here was the high today.

Hey Ron, in desert when it's 90 and the humidity is less than 10-15% you would like it.  But you're right about 90 usually being to warm because in the East and South the humidity is usually much higher.  In the desert 90 is usually quite nice.  Now, 100 plus is another story.

Some women here in the Desert put a sweater on at 90, age or temp./

Here at the SE rally it will only be in the low 70's for the next four days. Quite windy as well this morning. At least the sun is supposed to shine! :)
