Slide adjustment
« on: October 16, 2007, 11:12:02 AM »
I own a 1997 Sandpiper (by Forest River) 25FLS and want to know if the fit of the slide is adjustable.  When closed the top of the slide pulls in beyond the outside wall (appx 1 inch) of the trailer whereas the bottom of the slide comes flush with the outside wall.  Im concerned that having the top suck in that tight might pull too tightly on the rubber seal.

I noticed there are 3 vertical lugs on the outside frame at the bottom of the slide.  Perhaps these are adjustment lugs/screws??

I realize I obviously can take this to a RV repair shop, but thought Id inquire here first to see if anyone has any first hand knowledge.
