When you guys are in the Palm Springs area visit the Palm Desert Living Museum.  We spend the day there yesterday and had a great time.  They do have a Chucky there along with several other critters.  If you go in the evening they have it all set up with XMAS lights.  It made for an enjoyable day...tim

Tim is right about the Palm Desert Living Museum.  It is really neat and fun to go to.
 
Another fabulous desert musem to see is the "Tucson Living Desert".  That one is really really nice.  It is full of flowers and blooming cactus in the spring; especially if there have been good winter rains. 

There is also a nice RV park close.  We try to go to Tucson once a year and stay at "Western Ways".  Their pool and spa area is great.  There is hiking nearby in and around the Saguarios; both in the county park area and the Nat'l park.
