Pros/Cons of Engineered Wood Floor
« on: January 09, 2008, 12:17:33 AM »
Trying to find out from people that have engineered wood floors...would you put them in again, if you had to do it all over again?

How are they holding up?  Do they scratch easily?  How about ease of keeping them lookin' good?

I have kids ages 12/14 and 3 cats...trying to decide if I should change my choice of floor replacement from laminate to engineered wood...read where engineered wood can be glued down and won't expand/contract as badly because of how it's made...Newmar floors are glued (even my laminate) but I'm nervous about glueing another laminate floor, so am contemplating going back out and looking at an engineered wood floor.
