Well I finally got mine. It took a bit of time, but not to bad. I went in last thurs. and had a bit of a hassle when the lady didn't agree that all I needed was an endorsement on a class C not a non-com. A. The guy ahead of me said that he had been waiting for over 2 hrs. and I told the lady that I didn't want to take a number , that I would make an appointment on line and come back later. Went home and made an appointment for the next day.
Went in fri. afternoon, a lady helped me that knew what was needed, but it took her a bit to find the test, but got the right one. I was in and out in about 50 min. It is a pretty simple and straight forward test and cost nothing. My 5er is over 10,000lb so I'm good to go.

This is mostly a Calif. thing, although there are other states that require this also. Check with your state. I don't need a $300+
fine.
