In case you don't catch it elsewhere had a nice Friday Evening Chat with Marilyn Alm
For those of you who don't know Marilyn, her Husband Harry, and their Pair-O-Dachs Shadow and Sunny live in New Orlenas on waht is considered to be high ground (5 feet ABOVE sea level) The house mostly survived Katrina but they are still arguing with the insurance company over the garage.
Marilyn was recently diagnosed with cancer, had Surgary last Monday, and is now home and on her computer
Path report was excellent.. Cancer, it appears, was all delivered to the path lab and has not spread. This is good.
She was not expected out of hospital till around the middle of next week so it is even better.
Marilyn is in several of the compuserve forums I visit, Science Fiction LIT being where she hangs her SYSOP Hat.
