Hi
I am about to mount 2 175w solar panels on the roof of the 5er and i could just do with knowing how thick the roof is
anybody got any ideas.
Ian

If this is a walk on roof it has to be 5/8". The only thing that would concern me is if Keystone uses chipboard or plywood. Plywood ,good...Chip board/OSB......BAD

The Keystone Cougar has 3/8' Roof Decking according to their Construction specs. Also I disagree OSB (Oriented Strand Board) IS actually stronger than most construction grade plywood.

3/8th plywood or OSB is plenty strong to walk on occasionally.  I mounted a roof rack for a 12 ft boat to a motorhome roof with 3/8 decking.  Wish it had been thicker but never had any problems.
